The main room rug is where North Merrick families gather, play and relax. It also hides crumbs, pet hair and dull traffic paths. We clean it from top to base, lift the flattened pile, and bring back the color you first loved. Pet hair and crumbs come out with it.
Natural fibers ask for patience. Wool can shrink or felt with too much heat, and silk can lose its luster with harsh cleaners. We hand-wash these rugs with mild, eco-friendly solutions and use careful drying so they keep their shape, softness and shine. Fringe gets hand care as well.
Many North Merrick homes are classic capes, ranches and colonials on tidy streets, often with finished basements and playrooms full of rugs. We are a family company too, and we work all through the area, including Merrick, Bellmore and Freeport. We know the side streets well, which helps us arrive on time and work around school and practice schedules.
Our crews care for Persian, Oriental and antique rugs with hand-washing and gentle grooming. Pet stains and urine get enzyme treatment that works at the source. We also remove lingering odors and clean commercial rugs for local offices and shops. We keep entry mats and area rugs clean for North Merrick offices, studios and small shops, working around your hours so customers are not disturbed.
Persian rugs require pH-balanced solutions and gentle handling that extracts embedded soil without stripping hand-dyed colors or damaging delicate fibers woven generations ago.
Wool fibers trap moisture and dirt differently than synthetics. Our wool rug process uses precisely controlled temperatures that deep-clean without causing the shrinkage that terrifies homeowners.
Hand-knotted masterpieces need respect for the craftsmanship they represent. We provide Oriental rug cleaning that preserves intricate patterns while extracting years of accumulated dirt thoroughly.
Family treasures can't survive harsh modern cleaning chemicals meant for new synthetic materials. Our antique rug team removes decades of soil gently while preserving historical value completely.
Silk demands the gentlest possible approach available anywhere in the industry. We specialize in silk rug care using cool water and mild products that clean without fading or weakening threads.
Animal accidents soak through rugs into padding below. Our pet stain experts use enzymes that chemically destroy organic matter, eliminating stains and odors permanently.

Years of hands-on experience taught us this method delivers better results than shortcuts competitors use to save time. Each step addresses specific problems that cause permanent damage when inexperienced cleaners handle them carelessly or rush through jobs.
We identify fiber composition, test dye stability, find problem areas, and document existing damage before starting.
Commercial equipment shakes loose pounds of embedded dirt that home vacuums never touch regardless of how often you use them.
Problem spots get specialized solutions formulated specifically for your rug's fiber type and the particular stain composition.
Heated cleaning agents penetrate deep into pile, breaking up dirt and contaminants for immediate extraction through powerful suction.
Stubborn marks receive multiple applications of targeted cleaners designed for your rug's specific construction and materials.
Multiple flushes remove every trace of cleaning chemicals that would otherwise attract new dirt right after we finish.
Natural deodorizers eliminate smells chemically at their source instead of covering them with temporary artificial fragrances.
Proper temperature and airflow prevent mold while maintaining shape and preventing color bleeding throughout the drying period.
We inspect every square inch to ensure it meets our standards before scheduling delivery to your home.
Since 2005 we have built our business on careful work and repeat visits. We are local, family-run, and we treat each North Merrick home with respect from the moment we arrive.
We never rush a rug. Testing, cleaning and drying all follow the needs of the fibers, not a stopwatch. If your rug needs more time to dry or a second pass on a stain, we take that time.
Need more than rugs? We also clean wall-to-wall carpet, mattresses and upholstered furniture in North Merrick. Bundling rooms means one visit instead of several, and less hassle for your family.
